Once you've had an examination and cleaning at Spring Smiles, we'll prepare you for the whitening procedure. Brush with Sensodyne toothpaste for a week before to minimise any short-term sensitivity that may occur. Our carefully applied hydrogen peroxide solution gel is left on your teeth in 15-minute intervals, with typically three intervals lifting your teeth three to four shades on the guide. If needed, a fourth interval can be performed.
 
After the procedure, a relief gel is applied, and Dr. Liu will provide guidance on foods and beverages to avoid for the next few days (yes, coffee is temporarily on that list!). Brief sensitivity may occur but will not last long. Brushing with toothpaste like Sensodyne and avoiding extreme temperatures in foods for a day or two will help.
